This is the final project as seen at the winery. The label design was resized and etched into the already established wine barrel. Not much room for error! It also has a light charcoal wash applied to the surface prior to etching to enhance the detail as well as the weathered appearance of the wood.

This is a study done on oak for a later work done at the winery. Again the background is lifted leaving the design. In this case, it is the view of the winery as shown on the wine label.
